| There may be a required residential deposit‚ which usually runs $50.00 if local access only and $90.00 if long distance capable. CVTC will waive deposit requirement if customer has a letter from another utility showing good pay history or have had previous service with CVTC‚ which reflects good pay history. | |
| If location where requesting phone service has not had service for quite some time and CVTC equipment has been moved to accommodate phone service at another location in neighborhood there may also be a required $52.00 premise visit charge. | |
Calling features are powerful tools that help manage incoming and outgoing calls. Caller ID allows you to see who's calling and screen calls before answering. Call forwarding allows you to send calls coming into your home or business phone to any other phone such as a cell phone or another landline. Restrictions allow you to control access to long distance and other toll generating calls like collect calls, 3rd-party charge calls, calls placed to 1-900 numbers, and more. And, best of all, many of the features can be turned on the same day that the order is placed.
